PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING
As the customer, you understand and agree to the following terms of purchase outlined to you below
Our pods are designed in such a way that each component (floor, roof, gables) can be assembled on-site in sections allowing for an easier installation with minimal inconvenience however the roof sections are built at pre-determined total lengths e.g. 4.8m pod is 4.8m LONG. Therefore we insist on a 4m turning circle radius. If access is a straight run onto your property then this is acceptable. (see examples below)
If in any doubt, please send us pictures of your access with measurements before placing an order as deposits are required and are NON REFUNDABLE!
It is the homeowner's responsibility to ensure building location complies with all local planning regulations, i.e. boundary distances & heights. Wood Wizards will place the building in the desired location and if this is in breach of any planning regulations, Wood Wizards will not be accountable for any removal or relocation.
Assembly times will range from building to building BUT we do aim to complete and install within 4 to 6 weeks of placing the order unless a bulk order is placed when this will be discussed during ordering.
Timber is a natural material that contracts and expands, wood wizards make every effort to allow acceptable tolerances during the construction of our products, however, we will not be accountable for defects due to above natural causes. Regular wood treatment is strongly recommended to help prevent natural defects from occurring.
All Bases MUST BE FLAT AND LEVEL. A concrete base is strongly advised and we may request an image of the base before delivery to avoid any surprises. Wood Wizards will not be responsible for any movement (and/or) settlement issues in our products due to uneven level bases.
All bases MUST HAVE A MINIMUM of 150mm added to each side of base dimensions to allow for stability to the building.
Access to the prepared area and delivery area MUST BE free from obstruction and fouling for health and safety purposes and all pets must be kept clear of work areas at ALL times. Failure will result in a kerbside delivery only.
For delivery, we MUST BE able to get a long-wheelbase 7.5t vehicle as close to the initial delivery area as possible. It is the customer's responsibility to notify Wood Wizards of any parking restrictions/limitations when placing the order. Failure to notify us of this will result in a kerbside delivery only.
Delivery CANNOT be made through property due to insurance purposes.
Delivery teams WILL NOT be able to make delivery OVER any obstacles e.g. buildings or fences. This will result in the product being dropped kerbside.
Full payment MUST BE completed/cleared 7 DAYS prior to delivery.
Deliveries WILL require the homeowner to be present until the building is completed unless otherwise agreed prior to delivery.
In extreme circumstances, our delivery and assembly team reserve the right to refuse delivery should they deem it to be unsafe to do so e.g. verbal abuse/threatening behavior. Wood Wizards believe in equal rights and will maintain upmost professionalism and courtesy/conduct at all times.
Any refused deliveries will incur a re-delivery fee for having to make a second delivery attempt or will be left kerbside at Wood Wizards' discretion if redelivery options cannot be resolved.
